Our Beloved Founder, Ms. Shobhana Dayachari
(1952 – 2023)

An honours graduate in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Shobhana Dayachari built her early career as a professional banker before turning her training in financial management, project evaluation and business development toward building the group that carries her name forward today. As Founder & Managing Director, she set the tone that still defines AKG: rigorous about the numbers, unafraid of unfamiliar sectors, and serious about the idea that intellect, applied with passion, could move a project from concept to reality anywhere in the world. The Group she built — and the people she trained — continue her work as we honor her profound legacy, values, and leadership.
