Dr. P. Dayachari, PhD, MCA, LLB, Chairman, has had a long and distinguished career as an IAS officer. He took VRS in 2007 to helm the Apind Karunya Group of Companies. He brings to the group his dynamic outlook, scientific approach, technical expertise and a keen understanding of corporate financial management having held positions like Chairman Tobacco Board, India, Managing Director Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Corporation, Commissioner Transport etc. during his stint as a Civil Servant. He has considerable international exposure as a senior functionary in the Ministry of Commerce, Gov’t of India for five long years and also as Consultant to USAID (US Agency for International Development). He teaches Ethics in Administration, Financial Management and E- Governance.
Ms. D. Shobhana, Founder & Managing Director, has had a long and varied career, both as a professional banker and a business person. An Honour’s graduate in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Biochemistry, her areas of expertise include Banking, Financial Management and Analysis, Project Evaluation and Monitoring, Management Information and Planning and Business Development.
Ms. Samata Sarma, Director, Chief Operating Officer, has diverse expertise and wide exposure through working with several MNCs in India & abroad. A Civil Engineer, she has gained experience in the conceptualisation, design and execution of major infrastructure projects such as Power Projects. She has put her software and networking skills to good use in the development of our e-governance products and software including Online Transport, Grievance handling, POLIS (Police Information System), Video-conferencing and SMILe. With a Master’s in Finance and Accounting, she is the one who oversees our Commodity Trading – especially the O&G – Division. As the Chief Operating Officer for the Group Companies she is the one who drives all the expansion plans.
Dr. Jayanthimala Suresh, MBA, PhD, Partner – MENA Region, is a prominent entrepreneur in the MENA, with nearly 3 decades of experience in doing business internationally with a specific focus on the Gulf and Europe. She has also distinguished herself as a global Tamil leader in social service, especially in the cause of disadvantaged Indian expatriate communities.
